Our philosophy is that life comes with a limited time offer, and when we embrace that fact head-on with a deep dive into our own estate planning, we emerge feeling freer to experience the true magic of life.  We live more vibrantly. 

Estate planning is important at almost any age and stage in life, but at O’Donnell Law Center, we particularly have the needs of active retirees and grandparents in mind. You have already grown your families and your careers, and we understand that life at this stage is FULL of travel and adventure, boating, playing golf, trying new restaurants, sharing laughs with friends, volunteer work, hosting family holidays and parties, and visiting with grandchildren, and that with all of this activity, we value ease, efficiency and good, solid, straightforward guidance and advice.

We want to make it as easy as possible to get this vital yet far too often overlooked and postponed rite of passage (right up there with the rites of passage of birth, coming of age, marriage, eldership, and death) handled.  We know how easy and tempting it is to put this off until later. Or to think you’ve already gotten it handled because you created a will or trust in the distant past, around the time that your children were little. But the truth is that something can happen in an instant. And if you’ve done no planning or you have done planning long ago, now is the time to jump in. 

With the proper planning, you'll maximize what you pass on to the people you love with none of your assets being lost to the Missouri Treasurer’s Department of Unclaimed Property (which at the time of this email holds $1 billion largely from unclaimed financial accounts and safe deposit boxes) or your loved ones getting stuck in court or in conflict. And you will be in control of the ease in which your loved ones receive your treasures.
