#1

No plan, suited for those who wish to adopt the Missouri’s plan for who inherits their assets and how, ideally have assets at death totaling $40,000 or less an have no aversion to all of their assets going through probate court, and have no minor, step or special needs children or grandchildren to plan for and do not expect spouse to develop a disability.

#3

Will-based plan, suited for those who ideally have assets at death exceeding $40,000, have no minor, step or special needs children or grandchildren to plan for, and have a limited number of beneficiaries who can receive their inheritance through beneficiary assignments instead of probate court, and have estates under the estate tax threshold.

#3

Trust-based plan, suited for those who ideally anticipate assets at death exceeding $40,000, have minor, step or special needs children and grandchildren to plan for, have more than 2 or 3 beneficiaries to plan for, may have assets at death that are at or above the estate tax threshold, have a spouse with a disability, desire a private and seamless transfer of assets, and wish to keep their families out of court and out of conflict.

Got questions about estate planning for your family?

"We had been thinking about making a Trust.  We have had a Will for years but as we have gotten older, we felt a trust was the way to go. O’Donnell Law Office was recommended to us and we were very happy with everything Deirdre and her staff did for us and taking care of all our personal property and end of Life wishes. We would recommend O’Donnell Law Office to anyone thinking about getting a Trust prepared for their peace of mind."

We recently used Deirdre O’Donnell and her legal team for our estate planning needs and found them extremely helpful and professional. Our legal work was handled efficiently and all of our questions were fully resolved and communicated clearly by the knowledgeable staff. We feel very confident in recommending O’Donnell Law Center to our friends and family for help in their legal matters.

My wife and I had the O'Donnell Law Center do our last will and testament. Deirdre and her staff were great to work with. After an initial question and answer session they pretty much did all the work.  They are courteous, professional, and very competent, and we greatly enjoyed and appreciated working with them. We would definitely recommend this law firm to our friends.
